Complete installation guide for SecureVolumeFlow. Follow these steps carefully for successful setup.

Download the Indicator
After purchase, download the SecureVolumeFlow_MT4.ex4 file from your email or download page.
File received: SecureVolumeFlow_MT4.ex4

Locate MT4 Data Folder
Open MetaTrader 4 and navigate to:
File > Open Data Folder
This will open your MT4 installation directory.

Copy Indicator to Experts Folder
In the opened folder, navigate to:
MQL4 > Experts
Copy the SecureVolumeFlow_MT4.ex4 file here.
Why the "Experts" folder? MetaTrader 4 only allows license verification (WebRequest) from files located in the Experts folder.
SecureVolumeFlow is a purely analytical indicator — it does not place, modify or close any trades.
It only draws the channel, signals, and dashboard on your chart. You remain in full control of every trading decision.

Enable WebRequest for License Verification
CRITICAL STEP! Without this, the Indicator cannot verify your license.
In MetaTrader 4:
Tools > Options > Expert Advisors
✓ Check "Allow WebRequest for listed URL"
Click "Add" button
Enter: https://securevolumeflow.com
Click OK
The menu is called "Expert Advisors" in MetaTrader — this is just the name of the MT4 settings tab. SecureVolumeFlow does not trade automatically.

Restart MetaTrader
Close MT4 completely and reopen it for changes to take effect.

Add Indicator to Chart
In the Navigator panel (Ctrl+N), find SecureVolumeFlow under the "Expert Advisors" section.
Drag and drop it onto your chart (recommended timeframe: M30 or H1).
The file appears under "Expert Advisors" in Navigator because of how MetaTrader organizes .ex4 files — but SecureVolumeFlow is a purely visual indicator and never places any trades.

Enter License Key
When the Indicator settings window appears:
- Go to "Inputs" tab
- Find "LicenseKey" parameter
- Paste your license key (from purchase email)
- Click OK
The Indicator will auto-activate and display "LICENSE ACTIVE" in the dashboard!

Restart & Activate
Restart MT5, drag Indicator to chart, enter license key in settings.

Purchase the Indicator
Go to the TradingView product page and complete your purchase.
IMPORTANT! Make sure to enter your exact TradingView username during checkout. This is required to grant you access.

Check Your Email
After payment, you'll receive a confirmation email with your order details. Our team will process your TradingView access within 24 hours.

Accept the TradingView Invite
You will receive an invite notification directly on TradingView. To check:
- Log in to TradingView
- Go to your Notifications (bell icon)
- Look for an invite from SecureVolumeFlow
- Accept the invite to get access

Add the Indicator to Your Chart
Once access is granted:
- Open any chart on TradingView
- Click Indicators (top toolbar)
- Go to Invite-only scripts tab
- Find SecureVolumeFlow and click to add it
The indicator will appear on your chart with volume flow signals and breakout arrows!

Configure Your Settings
Click the gear icon on the indicator to customize:
- Colors: Adjust bullish/bearish colors to your preference
- Alerts: Set up custom alerts for breakout signals
- Display: Toggle channel lines, arrows, and labels
